Abstract

The expressive increase in the area planted with tropical ornamental inPernambuco reflects the crescent interest in these cultures in the State.However, the pest and diseases problems in ornamental Zingiberales areincreasing, mainly the fitonematoses, which are still studied. This reviewsupplies important information, to researchers working with nematology oftropical ornamental.
